Cuddle up with our Top 6 Valentine’s Day Episodes of Your Favorite Shows

It’s that time to either celebrate love or to enjoy #SinglesAwarenessDay. Get ready to cuddle up with your significant someone or your favorite pint of ice cream and fall in love all over again with some of the best Valentine’s Day themed episodes of all time.

1. Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, “Stop Will! In the Name of Love”

Ashley brings along Will for the ride as she thinks her dad is overprotective (hey, it’s normal), but little does she know Will becomes a mini Uncle Phil. And all she wanted was a little space and freedom.

2. Friends, “The One with the Candy Hearts”

When Chandler’s set-up on a blind date with his ex-girlfriend Janice on Valentine’s Day, it leads to “Chan and Jan Forever” candy hearts. Just what you want to hear from your ex! And who can forget when Phoebe, Monica and Rachel get together to burn momentos from their past relationships. Now streaming on Netflix.

3. Supernatural, “My Bloody Valentine”

Nothing says Happy Valentine’s Day like a visit from Cupid, but what happens when Cupid’s arrows make you turn on your lover? If you want some action, adventure and an all-around anti-Valentine’s Day episode, this one’s for you. Hey, even Dean isn’t feeling his favorite holiday, which was designated by him in years past as “unattached drifter Christmas.” The Winchester brothers will always have a place in our hearts.

4. Supergirl, “Mr. & Mrs. Mxyzptlk”

There’s a little love for mostly almost everyone in this episode. We see Alex and Maggie celebrating their first Valentine’s Day together, while Kara and Mon-El’s relationship status is complicated by the arrival of a classic Superman villain — Mr. Mxyzptlk. Turns out that trying to fight off a villain while attempting to confess your love is more complicated than you think.

5. The Vampire Diaries, “Total Eclipse of the Heart”

The most romantic day of the year turns dark (more than usual on TVD) when Dr. Maxfield injects Damon with a dark cocktail that gives him a taste of vampire blood. There’s a whole other level of chaos at Whitmore College, but hey — at least there’s a dance that brings everyone from the “broken hearts club” together. Bring on the Bitter Ball! Now streaming on Netflix.

6. The Middle, “Valentine’s Day III”

We can never leave out the Hecks when it comes to some of the best episodes for any holiday. Sue has a Valentine this year with her wrestling beau Matt, and all we have to say is French kissing won’t be in their future ever again (as long as Sue’s braces are involved). Frankie and Mike’s annual eat-a-bucket-of-takeout-chicken-in-sweatpants tradition is put on hold when their invited out for dinner with friends. Mike Heck isn’t your typical Mr. Romance, so when a woman comes around asking all the men if they’d like to buy a rose for their sweethearts, we’ll let you re-watch to see how that plays out with Frankie.
